11-year-old actor Cayden Boyd who's previous film credits include 'Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story' and 'The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3D' will be playing the role of a young Angel in X-Men 3. The grown-up Angel will be played by actor Ben Foster of 'Hostage' and 'The Punisher'. Meanwhile, the part of Warren 'Angel' Worthington's father has yet to be cast.
"Cayden Boyd will play the young Archangel in 20th Century Fox’s ‘X3’, directed by Brett Ratner. Ben Foster will play the adult version of the same X-Men character. Boyd recently starred in ‘The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D’ and is scheduled to star as the title character in ‘West Texas Children’s Story’, with lensing scheduled for fall."
