Yup. We're doing this now. X-men 3 the last stand is one of the most disappointing third entries ever to be released. Sure there are some magnificant scenes dispersed throughout, but that doesnt' excuse the fact that it is a messy, short (only 100 freaking minutes!) outing to what should've been a great way to conclude Bryan Singer's trilogy. Here's our review:

So how what did you think about the Last Stand?

This movie was a steaming pile of festered dog shit. I was so angry walking out of the cinema, I have never watched the movie again. X-Men has been my favorite comic for over twenty years - hell, it's the reason I started reading comics in the first place - and this movie completely [frick]ed my enjoyment of every subsequent X film. (Not XXX film, they're still good 👍🏻). The pathetic, cheesy, disrespectful way the characters were butchered - sorry, "written" - was a massive shit taken on the first two great films. I honestly still cannot watch the later films without the thoughts of this turdfest in the back of my mind going "this is going to turn bad at any minute".
On the positive side, Kelsey Grammar was absolutely perfect as Beast. What a complete [frick]ing waste of great casting.
On the negative side, everything else.
The worst part, the Phoenix resurrection scene. Where was the fire?! IT'S A FLAMING [frick]ING BIRD AND YOU HAD NO FLAMES!!! OR BIRD!!!!! And there was NO MUSIC!!! Here is a massive moment in comic book history, and what should have been a massive dramatic moment in this film and there wasn't even any music!!! I'm no director, but Jesus, any idiot can tell you that should have been a spectacular visual and audio scene, complete with ear splitting eagle-like screech. Singer had everything lined up for the Dark Phoenix saga, this shit should have been a slam dunk dunk. (He even had a flaming bird under the water at the end of HIS film).
Brett Ratner, you're a [frick]ing hack. Simon Kinberg, you're a [frick]ing tool.
