Why do these articles keep popping up twice? I seen this article yesterday on here and now here it is again. Like I swear i saw that ninja turtle article about a sequel and tv show at least 3 different times

On one hand, I'm happy that this iconic series will be getting a continuation, ensuring more people discover and appreciate it. On the other hand, can Disney be trusted to do this series justice, especially after the disaster that was phase 4 and now seemingly 5 of the MCU ? There's also the fact that this series was made by specific people, with a specific mindset back in the 90s. Even if they get all those people back, which is unlikely, they're different people from who they were back then.

I remember back in 2016 when the Batman & Harley Quinn animated movie was announced. They were bringing the old art style back, the old cast, the old crew, etc... We were finally getting a new chapter in the Batman animated saga since Mystery of the Batwoman 14 years prior. After an entire year of anticipation, the movie was finally released...and it was so far removed from what made the animated series what it was that it should've just been its own thing instead. It didn't help that the movie was dogshit as well.

As long as X-Men '97 doesn't try to pull off a horror show the way the main comics just did, we will be just fine.

A lot that I read about what will or could feature in this continuation are things I wanna see on the big screen as well. I'd like to think they're using this show to test that stuff out first
