Latest X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Production Still Features A Mutant-Controlled Owl
Director Bryan Singer has shared yet another image from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse, and this is the oddest one yet. Will Alpha Flight member Snowbird feature in the film? Possibly... but that doesn't appear to be the situation here. Click on to see what you make of it...
After that mysterious image of a youngster in a forest clearing surrounded by armed soldier types, Bryan Singer has released another head scratcher from the X-Men: Apocalypse set. As the director explains himself in the accompanying text, this is a "mutant guided incoming owl" - so what can we glean from that? Well, as I mentioned in the tease, Canadian Alpha Flight member Snowbird can transform into a large white owl, but she wasn't a mutant in the comics and didn't actually control animals which is what seems to be happening here. Do any of the other characters from this movie fit that description? Speculate away in the usual place.
Directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Apocalypse also stars Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Lana Condor (Jubilee), Olivia Munn (Psylocke), Ben Hardy (Archangel), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), with Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), and Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse). The movie will hit theaters on May 27, 2016.
