The latest issue of Empire Magazine has some new stills from X-Men: Apocalypse, and you can see them below (the one featuring Apocalypse, Psylocke, and Storm may seem familiar, but compare it to the one which debuted in EW, and you'll see it is pretty different). They also have quotes from director Bryan Singer, and he had this to say about the look of Apocalypse in the X-Men: Days of Future Past follow-up. "He'll be very similar to images in the comic. There's obviously something very futuristic and yet ancient to the design of both his costume and his physicality."
The filmmaker also weighed in on Quicksilver's role in the movie because you just know it's not going to be easy to top what happened the last time we saw him (in an X-Men move that is). "You can't have him run around a kitchen in the Pentagon again. But I can incorporate him into the movie in a much more appropriate and integral way." Talking of Quicksilver, what's going on with his dad in X-Men: Apocalypse? Star Michael Fassbender had this to say: "Magneto is a guy that plays both side. It depends on the day of the week. When we first meet him here, he's hung up his cape and he's fallen in love and had a family. His motives are in some ways justifiable, it's just his methods that are questionable." What do you guys think about these latest images/details?
