Produced by Barrie M. Osborne (The Lord of the Rings trilogy), The Warrior's Way stars South Korean actor and musician Dong-Gun Jang as as Yang, a powerful warrior assassin who flees the Far East to find peace and contentment in a dusty town in the Old West. But, Yang is not allowed to "retire" so easily, and once again must pick up his sword and follow the way of the warrior in order to save himself and the town from the ninja threat. He is aided by two unlikely allies in the town drunk (Academy Award-winner Geoffrey Rush) and in a knife-throwing circus performer (Kate Bosworth). Danny Huston and Tony Cox also star.

The Warrior's Way opens December 3rd!

I like the look of this. I heard of this film about a few months ago but it didn't sound like it was going to be anything special. However after seeing the trailer to this about a week ago, I have to say it looks really awesome.

neuromonitor- Effects wise, i'll agree. Sukiyaki Western Django might be a laughing stock, but it's effects were oceans better than this.

Aside from that though, i very much enjoyed both trailers i've seen of this. And Bosworth was ASTONISHING in this!!! Where the hell was she in Superman Returns???

I think that this looks like a really fun movie.
I would not be at all upset if this movie was anything like Ninja Assassin which ( in my opinion ) was a well written , well acted , well choreagraphed & fun movie with good fx .

rastaZen- Glad to hear you say that. Haven't seen Ninja Assassin yet. The trailers looked epic but everyone seems to think it sucks.

yeah, doesn't really look that great. I'm guessing they are going for cheesy? But its not over the top cheesy, which would've made it good.

U want to see a great martial arts film, U should see Ip Man with Donnie Yeh, now that is a movie!

I agree Spock, IP man is in my top 10 movies of all time. I've yet to see the sequel though, so I can't say if it is as good.

I enjoyed Ninja Assassin, and I am looking forward to seeing this. The first thing I thought after seeing the first trailer was just how much it looks like a Snyder movie because of the color schemes used. After seeing this trailer, I am a bit more wary of the movie but will hold out judgement till I've seen the whole thing!

Spock & ManhuntersBastardChild- TOTALLY AND EMPHATICALLY AGREE WITH YOU 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ip Man is probably the best martial arts film ever made and even though all that was available at the time i purchased the film was the regular version, i'm contemplating buying the special edition AS WELL :))

I think it's actually a tie between Ip Man and Ong Bak 2 for the top MA film ever made in my book. They vastly surpass plenty or regular films of any genres in terms of acting and story!

this looks a lot like suckerpunch..in terms of mixing genres and styles...but suckerpunch just looks a lot richer in terms of cinematic bling...every shot looks disgustingly stylized just like 300 did...with this i m quite annoyed by a lot of the uninspired shots and odd editing.
