While the Expendables franchise has often relied on old blood to pull off its explosive sequences, the new upcoming movie, Expend4bles, will introduce a group of rising action stars.
Megan Fox, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, and Andy Garcia are set to join the fourth installment in the blockbuster action franchise and a new poster for the movie puts them front-and-center alongside returning stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Randy Couture, and Dolph Lundgren. "Old blood meets new blood," the tagline reads.
The reveal of the actual poster is a bit odd as we see a power washer clean away some dirt and grime, all set to the track of the Red Hot Chili Pepper's "Can't Stop." The tweet itself reads, "You could say we clean up nice."
Expend4bles arrives nearly 10 years after the last installment was released. The long-awaited fourth installment in The Expendables franchise follows the group of elite mercenaries led by Stallone's Barney Ross on a mission to stop a terrorist organization, led by Suarto (played by Iko Uwais), from smuggling nuclear warheads that will ignite a conflict between the United States and Russia.
Sylvester Stallone returns as the Expendables leader Barney Ross alongside Jason Statham's Lee Christmas, Randy Couture's Toll Road, and Dolph Lundgren's Gunner Jenson. Stallone has confirmed this will be his final appearance as Barney Ross with Statham expecting to take over the lead role in future movies. Megan Fox plays CIA agent and Christmas's ex-girlfriend, Gina, while 50 Cent will play new Expendables member Easy Day.
The Expendables movies haven't always received the best reviews, but there's never been a shortage of entertaining action sequences. The movies are a throwback to the blockbuster action movies made in the '80s and '90s and often feature a mix of older and newer action stars. As a franchise, The Expendables has earned more than $800 million at the worldwide box office with no movie bringing in less than $200 million globally. The Expendables 3 was the worst performer with just $214 million.

Reuniting as the team of elite mercenaries, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Sylvester Stallone are joined for the first time by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, and Andy Garcia.
