Explosive EXPEND4BLES Poster Introduces New Action Stars Megan Fox, 50 Cent And More

While the Expendables franchise has often relied on old blood to pull off its explosive sequences, the new upcoming movie, Expend4bles, will introduce a group of rising action stars.

Megan Fox, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, and Andy Garcia are set to join the fourth installment in the blockbuster action franchise and a new poster for the movie puts them front-and-center alongside returning stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Randy Couture, and Dolph Lundgren. "Old blood meets new blood," the tagline reads.

The reveal of the actual poster is a bit odd as we see a power washer clean away some dirt and grime, all set to the track of the Red Hot Chili Pepper's "Can't Stop." The tweet itself reads, "You could say we clean up nice."

Expend4bles arrives nearly 10 years after the last installment was released. The long-awaited fourth installment in The Expendables franchise follows the group of elite mercenaries led by Stallone's Barney Ross on a mission to stop a terrorist organization, led by Suarto (played by Iko Uwais), from smuggling nuclear warheads that will ignite a conflict between the United States and Russia.

Sylvester Stallone returns as the Expendables leader Barney Ross alongside Jason Statham's Lee Christmas, Randy Couture's Toll Road, and Dolph Lundgren's Gunner Jenson. Stallone has confirmed this will be his final appearance as Barney Ross with Statham expecting to take over the lead role in future movies. Megan Fox plays CIA agent and Christmas's ex-girlfriend, Gina, while 50 Cent will play new Expendables member Easy Day.

The Expendables movies haven't always received the best reviews, but there's never been a shortage of entertaining action sequences. The movies are a throwback to the blockbuster action movies made in the '80s and '90s and often feature a mix of older and newer action stars. As a franchise, The Expendables has earned more than $800 million at the worldwide box office with no movie bringing in less than $200 million globally. The Expendables 3 was the worst performer with just $214 million.

A new generation of stars join the world’s top action stars for an adrenaline-fueled adventure in Expend4bles. Reuniting as the team of elite mercenaries, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Sylvester Stallone are joined for the first time by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, and Andy Garcia. Armed with every weapon they can get their hands on and the skills to use them, The Expendables are the world’s last line of defense and the team that gets called when all other options are off the table. But new team members with new styles and tactics are going to give “new blood” a whole new meaning

Expend4bles explodes into theaters on September 22, 2023.

Honestly this might be one i skip

Very clear they are moving on from the action stars of the 80’s and arent going to even touch on the 90’s

The 80’s stars are the selling point of this franchise

The raid guy and jason statham are cool but not what i go to these movies for

@BeNice123 - 2nd movie was easily the best of the series.

Had the most classic stars, gave them all time to shine and didnt take itself overly seriously

@dracula - Funny thing is, they kinda tried that with the third movie (a decado ago, mind you) and it backfired, badly.

@TheHumanSpider2 - man the young actors ruined the third movie

Mel Gibson was the saving grace of it

If only he waw in a better expendable movie

@dracula - Crazy Mel made that movie at least watchable.
Btw, crazy how that "trilogy" has great villains; Eric Roberts, Van Damme, Mel Gibson...a shame this movie is coming way too late, and looking for the wrong market, because no millenial cares for Megan Fox or 50 Cents, while no zoomer cares for 80 years old Stallone firing a machine gun.

Glad we get more Statham, just wish Jet Li was in this one.

After seeing what Megan Fox did to Machine Gun Kelly I’m curious to see what she’ll do to those guys…

And I’m not even a fan of MGK. 🤣🤣🤣

Love you Sly, but the third movie was already terrible, and that was 10 years ago, plus...Megan Fox and 50 Cent? the point of these movies was having '80s action stars, not '00s nostalgia bait for zoomers...and zoomers are not showing up to see this, just as we saw with Indy 5, this is a movie made for an audience that doesnt exist.

How they think to make things better: Cram in more has beens and a handful of DEI guys most people never heard of.

Crash & burn. Pass.

First and second ones were neat. The third and likely this one are trash. Just stop.

Still upset he did the last Rambo. So stupid.
