He Might Be Short But He's Real Strong- Ant- Man Review
Ant Man may be small but he has made waves (however small) throughout the MCU. It seems Scott may carry with him a huge key in the Avengers Endgame puzzle.
As I continue along the Road to Avengers Endgame my series of Rewind Reviews is nearing the end of Marvels Phase 2. Ant-Man was heap of fun when it first released and the fresh humor and silly antics are still a joy today some 4 years on. With a great cast that displays excellent on screen chemistry, Ant-Man is one of those movies that, despite being simply good, is always endearing.
I've always thought that the idea of Ant Man was one that had huge (excuse the pun) potential yet it seems to be played a tad safe. I feel access to Hank Pym opens a lot of doors that we see more fully explored in Ant Man and the Wasp (review next month!) but it's a bit of a shame that I feel like these movies are always going to be sidelined and given small, superfluous plots that rarely change the grand picture of the MCU. Here is hoping Endgame can prove me wrong but I still feel like Ant Man and the Wasp was merely introducing us to the Quantum Realm which if it does gets used heavily throughout Endgame makes Ant Man and the Wasp even weaker in my book.
ANT-MAN 2015 DIRECTOR- Peyton Reed CAST- Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Michael Pena and Evangeline Lilly
