Benedict Cumberbatch On The Likelihood Of Him Appearing In A BOND Film
Benedict Cumberbatch as Bond? That seemed to be the rumor going around after Daniel Craig announced that his time was coming to an end.
While speaking with The Guardian at the London premiere for Black Mass, Benedict Cumberbatch addressed the rumors about him possibly playing James Bond, and revealed that those chances are very low. "I don't think they'd consider me for that, to be honest." The 39 year old actor then continued and spoke on why he thinks they wouldn't pick him to play that role. "I can wear a suit, and I can fight! I can raise my eyebrow, but that's not what it takes to play Bond. They might want to go in very different directions, who knows? It would be fun though!" Even though it would be awesome to see Cumberbatch suit up as Bond, that will most likely not be the case.
