Jean-Claude Van Damme claims that he didn't want to take part in Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables," because Stallone refused to give him story details. But according to Stallone, that wasn't the case.

"I wanted to set Jean-Claude against Jet Li as Gunnar Jensen, but he didn't want to lose to Jet," Stallone told The Sunday Times. "He didn't think that was cool. But that's why it would be cool; to have Jean-Claude beaten by the other man. Hey, they could have a rematch. But Steven Seagal and Van Damme, they weren't really into our gallows humor."

During a premiere for the movie, Stallone said that he and Van Damme recent spoke and Van Damme regrets not accepting Stallone's offer to be in the movie. The three including seagal are now figuring out how to work together on the sequel. When was JCVD in Rumble in the Bronx? I swear that's Jackie Chan's awesome mid-90's movie - with a hovercraft finale! While it would be great if JCVD appeared in Expendables 2, I would wee myself if they got Jackie too.

Rumble in the what?!!! Error in your movie titles....Rumble in the Bronx starred Jackie Chan. Not JCVD or Mr. Segal.

JCVD & Segal have egos that are too big for films like these. I'm not surprised at this news. JCVD will refuse to lose and demand to show his naked ass(again), while Segal will go a step further and refuse to even get hit. The sequel doesn't need them at all.

But i still wanna see even other of them in The Expendables sequel!:D And if possible both of them! Jackie Chan, Kurt Russell, Forest Whitaker, Michael Fassbender (If you have seen 300 and Centurion then you know why i want him to be in this), Luke Goss, Tony Jaa, Dwayne Johnson, Wesley Snipes, Olivier Gruner, Michael Dudikoff, Ray Park, Scott Adkins and Danny Trejo should be in the sequel too! And maybe Clint Eastwood cameo as The old General! That would rock!

i could see this playing out like that scene in anchorman where there is all of those cameos as the people in the rival newstations in that fight scene, that was awesome!

I thought everyone knew that the reason Chuck Norris wasn't in the Expendables is because the credits would be rollin' in 15 minutes. No one would go see a 15 minute movie.
