The plot deals with Stallone's character of a New Orelans hitman who has to team up with a New York City cop so that they can take down the killers of their respective partners.

"Sylvester Stallone is an iconic action star the world over," says Silver, who had previously worked with the actor on Demolition Man and Assassins, "and I'm thrilled to be working with him again."

As noted above, the project, formerly known as Headshots, will be directed by Hill, a veteran director whose two most iconic action films are The Warriors and 1982's 48 Hours, which truly ushered in the buddy action/comedy genre that would include Running Scared, Red Heat and Lethal Weapon, among others.

I was wondering why Running Scared was up there (seeing as it is none of those things) so I hit up IMDB and low and behold...Gregyory Hines & Billy Crystal!!! That movie must be filled with all kinds hysterical 80's cheese! Thx for the article...

...oh, and I can't mention that movie without saying...

Paul Walker was the fcuking MAN in Running Scared (2006)!!! =D

Running Scared with Hines and Crystal is hilarious, and the one with Paul Walker not so funny but really good. Not sure about this movie though isn't Stallone getting a little old to play a cop he is retirement age.
