Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle has crossed yet another box office milestone this past weekend. It earned another $9.8 million to its box office total, bringing it to $365.7 million domestic and $881.8 million worldwide and surpassing Spider-Man: Homecoming's $880.2 million.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle currently sits in the No. 5 spot on 2017's worldwide charts, ahead of films such as Spider-Man: HomecomingGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Thor: Ragnarok, Justice League, and Logan. In the domestic charts, Jumanji also resides in the No. 5 spot, trailing Wonder Woman ($412.6 million) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 ($389.8 million). Yet Jumanji is expected to surpass the Marvel Studios sequel very soon.

The Sony sequel also surpassed Spectre ($880.7 million) to become the studio's third highest grossing film of all time at the global box office after Skyfall ($1.1 billion) and Spider-Man 3 ($890.9 million). However the Dwayne Johnson-led film is expected to surpass the third installment of the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy soon. It is expected to cross $900 million very soon and even has a shot at $1 billion depending on its performance in Japan where it will open in late March.

A sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is planned for a late 2019 release. Have you watched this film yet? Sound off below!

Jesus...

And here I am thinking this movie was just another disaster bound to happen at the Sony headquarters...

And yes...

I'm glad I was proven otherwise.

Jumanji was so entertaining. I haven't laughed and had fun with a movie like that in a long time. People clapped after watching it. That says a lot about it
