New POWER RANGERS Poster Reveals The Yellow Ranger's Sabre-Toothed Tiger Dinozord

The Dinozords are coming! Saban & Lionsgate have uncovered our first look at one of the ultra-powerful Dinozords and let's just say, it looks a lot better than the toy we saw a few weeks back. Come take a look!

A few weeks ago, thanks to a new batch of movie toys, we caught a less-than-ideal first look at the Power Rangers' new Megazord, but earlier today, Saban & Lionsgate released a pretty sweet new poster (likely the first of five) revealing the Sabre-Toothed Tiger Dinozord. Just like the original television series, this zord will be piloted by Trini, the Yellow Ranger, who is played by Becky Gomez.

The new one-sheet also offers a foggy look at the other four Dinozords, with the Tyrannosaurus & Pterodactyl zords being the most visible and the Triceratops & Mastodon zords bringing in the rear. Expect to see those posters later this week.

Check out the poster below:

Saban's Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.

Barely, but cool to see SOMETHING, finally. They certainly look like they'll be better than the shitty toys, but if the "Mastodon truly has 6 legs...wtf?

Yeah, some of these designs such as the Sabre-Toothed Tiger and with some minor alterations the Pterodactyl. Though some of the choice are just really dumb with no real excuse.

@MattBellissimo - If this was a Zoids movie, I'd probably have some level of excitement. Even crappy animal-themed robots get my juices flowing.

But put Saban's name in front of it and I'm out of [frick]s to give.

@MattBellissimo - [frick] this. This already ruined my childhood.

Also, these designers need a lesson in perspective. The yellow ranger in the cockpit is literally bigger than all the trees.

This movie has a Max steel vibe for me.

@Space - Yeah, but this had something Max Steel didn't...

Seriously, Max Steel might have had some of the worst marketing for a blockbuster I can remember.

Well, can't be worse than the original series, that's a positive thing to say.

That dinozord looks cool. I know it looks different from the series, but it doesn't look bad.
