Robert Downey Jr. Back to Holmes this year?

I guess there's no rest for the weary, as RDJ is reportedly going back for a second serving of Sherlock Holmes this year.

Warner Bros. has greenlit a sequel to Sherlock Holmes, so expect Downey's Holmes and and hopefully Jude Law's Watson back on bickering and deducing on screen. Director Guy Ritchie is not yet set to direct the sequel but I'm pretty sure WB will soon knock on his door. There's still no news of other casts returning.

Shooting is reported to start in June with an eye on a 2011 release.

This must be the reason of Downey not being on Favreau's next film Aliens and Cowboys.

What I find funny in this is that WB is eager to start a sequel with this Great Detective, being starred by Iron Man Downey, but they are a bit apprehensive on getting a sequel with their own Great Detective from DC Comics -BATMAN!

-ACCESS out. Godspeed and MABUHAY!
