The King Of The Jungle's Origin Story Revealed In Action-Packed THE LEGEND OF TARZAN Trailer

The King Of The Jungle's Origin Story Revealed In Action-Packed THE LEGEND OF TARZAN Trailer

The titular hero still doesn't speak and there's a lot of very questionable CGI in this otherwise action-packed new trailer for The Legend of Tarzan from Harry Potter director David Yates.

It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Skarsgård) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Robbie) at his side.  Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Leon Rom (Waltz).  But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.
Directed by David Yates, The Legend of Tarzan stars Alexander Skarsgard as Tarzan, Margot Robbie as Jane, Djimon Hounsou as Chief Mbonga, Samuel L. Jackson as George Washington Williams, and Christoph Waltz as the villainous Captain Leon Rom. It's set to be released worldwide next July.

THIS LOOKS AWESOME!! Faith restored in Fox, no wonder all the hype for today's trailer. Altough it could use a little more Magneto in it.

The trailer is decent and the cast is brilliant, but I still don't know about this. This director's Harry Potter movies were the most boring ones.

It's like it doesn't know which tone it wants. Serious and dramatic, or popcorn action adventure.

With this cast I think the movie will be great! Any chance to see Christoph Waltz on the screen is a win for me. He and Sam L have been doing great work together and of course Margot Robbie Quinn

I wished CBM realized when clicking on a page and having the auto-play trailer blasting at work isn't the best thing, ya know...can't we choose when to press play on the damn videos? Guess each play is more $...we clearly came on to the page to watch a video...am I the only one disgruntled? Ha, ha...

I don't understand how CGI can still be this bad in 2016.

We have we get a sequel, where things from the books like Opar and Korak appear, I would be really happy.

Hope that this will finally be right. Looks promising. But then again, so did John Carter. It would really be a miracle to finally get it right.
