With WONDER WOMAN On The Way, CATWOMAN Finally Gets An Honest Trailer

Wonder Woman has turned things around for female-led superhero movies, but Catwoman damaged that side of the genre irrevocably. This hilarious Honest Trailer looks at all the reasons why...

Back in the mid-2000s, superhero movies were pretty much right up there with video game movies as being consistently awful. While there was the odd winner (Spider-Man 2 and Batman Begins, for example), most - Fantastic Four, Elektra, and, yes, Catwoman - were downright terrible. The latter is the subject of this Honest Trailer and it will bring back memories of just how horrible this movie was!

Paying pretty much zero attention to the source material, Catwoman was a complete mess which delivered awful dialogue, horrible action, and a storyline bad enough to make Pacific Rim's look good!

Anyway, the video below is great fun and will really make you cringe! Christopher Nolan brought Catwoman back to the big screen in The Dark Knight Rises, but she's yet to make her DCEU debut...

Personally, I believe Pacific Rim has such a simple plot that it doesn't matter.

It's all about the heart and the joy you feel when you see jaegers fighting against Kaijus. It makes you feel like a kid again. That's why I love Pacific Rim.

@Kr08 - Exactly! You can tell thats what Del Torro intended it to be, nothing more nothing less.

@CurlyBill - If he intended it to be a pile of shit, then I guess you're right.

@RorMachine - Del Torro hasn't made a bad film yet in my book. Pacific Rim is arguably his weakest film, but I'm a sucker for a good popcorn flick. It's just one of those movies destined to split the crowd, but maybe your like the sequal more?

@CurlyBill - for me he peaked with hellboy 2 movie wise. Have you watched the strain. That show is Awsome.

@CurlyBill - I'd say PR is his only outright bad movie, though Crimson Peak was only average. Hey I still liked at the Kaiju stuff but that's simply not enough when I wanted to throw things at the screen any time a human character opened their mouth.

@RorMachine - Kinda funny you say that; I think Crimson Peak's his one bad movie and everything else ranges from decent to great.

@MUTO123 - Same, crimson peak seemed like a really good story from the trailers and everything, but it fell short in my view. Loved everything else from him though.

I still think Crimson peak could have been much better had he stretched out the plot a bit more, but maybe it was just cause my school made me read wuthering heights at the same time that that movie came out.

@JoshWilding - I know you didn't like Pacific Rim. I like that movie, but I understand you don't and that's your opinion and you're entitled to it.

But that dig was completely unnecessary.
