By the time Black Panther: Wakanda: Forever is released in theaters this November, there will have been a total of fourteen MCU movies and TV shows released since Black Widow wrapped up Marvel Studios' Phase 4. As a result, we perhaps shouldn't be surprised that Phase 5 will kick off next year with Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and Secret Invasion!
In 2023, we'll also have Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Echo, Loki season 2, The Marvels, Blade, Ironheart, and possibly Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
That's a jam-packed year, but things will only get more exciting in 2024 with the eighteen episode Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+, Captain America: New World Order, and Thunderbolts (which will be the final chapter in Phase 5 according to Kevin Feige).
We're assuming this is the full slate, though if that's the case, 2024 won't be quite as busy (don't be surprised if a few more projects are added during Disney+ Day or even D23).
Still, it's hard to find fault with anything listed here and the next couple of years look set to be very exciting for MCU fans. Some have complained that Marvel Studios is prioritising quantity over quality lately, but with the pandemic in the rearview, fingers crossed Phase 5 will be a slightly less bumpy road to travel.
