Following their adventures through the Black Vortex, the Guardians emerged only to discover that the Darkhawks, an army of robots that can duplicate anyone they touch, have taken over the galaxy. This week's episodes of Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout!, Disney XD's animated series, continues the story from last week.

"Paranoid," the first in a double-header premiering Sunday night, sees the Guardians travel to Asgard to help Thor fight off the Darkhawk invasion. Raven-Symoné will once again return as the voice of the fierce Asgardian warrior Valkyrie.

The released sneak peek is actually from the second episode of tomorrow's two-parter, "Darkhawks on The Edge of Town." Realizing the only way to stop the Darkhawks is by traveling to the root of the invasion, the Guardians head to the Darkhawk Realm where they encounter The Serpent, the evil mastermind behind the robot army.

“Paranoid” (9:30 – 10:00PM ET/PT)

The Guardians travel to Asgard to help Thor fight off the spreading Darkhawk invasion. As the Darkhawks replicate more and more of their friends the Guardians realize the only way to stop them is to go to the root of the invasion—The Darkhawk Realm!

“Darkhawks on the Edge of Town” (10:00 – 10:30PM ET/PT)

The Guardians must travel to the Darkhawk Realm to free their duplicated friends. But the evil mastermind behind the Darkhawks, the Serpent, will not let the Guardians ruin his plans without a fight.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! airs Sunday nights on Disney XD starting at 9:30p.m. ET.

Does every episode have this classic 80s animation vibe? I love that. Felt like Thundercats or He-man but with crisp, modern approaches to those classic techniques. Even the camera panning felt very 80s.

@PTM - Adding to what you just said? Cul the Serpent sounds like he's voiced by none other than 80's voiceover veteran Frank Welker, who coincidentally enough voices Odin in this show and Avengers Assemble.

@FlixMentallo21 - I noticed that too. I couldn't name the VA to save my life but I knew I recognized the voice.

I haven't watched this show since season one. Just seems t lack any heart. Disney surely hasn't been kind to Marvel animation.
