Fresh off the news that Eva Longoria is joining the Nickelodeon live-action feature, Dora the Explorer has now copped Michael Pena, an actor best known to the CBM community as Luis. So far, Paramount has gotten the attention of many due to the divisive reception to its existance. But surprisingly, the studio has been making moves to at least intrigue audiences. Just having started production, Dora is lucky to have Pena on board, but who will he be playing?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Ant-Man and the Wasp star will be boarding the project as the protagonist's father. Supposedly in the vein of The Goonies, the adventure will find the character in perilous situations, something fresh for the property.
In the months leading up to the film, I am sure that Paramount still has a lot more intriguing details to spill. Benicio Del Toro as Swiper anyone?
