I know this is probably old news to some but I need to vent a little here.
What in tarnation is going on with DC's animated shorts?

News was Jonah Hex was going to be first out the gate probably attached to the upcomming DC's flick Crisis of Two Earths, then we learn it's going to be The Specter.... don't get me wrong I'm okay with that but there's been a lack of news about any of the shorts of DC's lesser known characters.

Has the project been shelved all together? I hope not. Last I heard was the shorts were to be compiled into a DVD titled DC Showcase Presents.

No clips of the Specter short have been released as of yet, no sneek peeks nada nothing, it's really very aggravating.

Well 2010 is finally here let's hope we get to start hearing something soon.

what happened to DC animated shorts??? 3 words cost cost cost! you must have no idea how expensive it must be to create clothing of any kind with moving pictures on them. i had a hanna barbera animated blanket when i was a kid, but as it was just a prototype i had to give it back. see in the 80's lugging around a cathode ray tube with yor blanky wasnt exactly a practical invention.
