Releasing on April 16th, Iron-Man: Rise of Technovore pits the armored Avenger against Ezekiel stane. The direct to video feature is Iron-Man's second journey to the world of anime.

First reviews are in and they might disappoint you.

The first review come from Highdefdigest::

"'Iron Man: Rise of Technovore' manages to do a disservice to both the Marvel universe and anime. Filled with hokey, pseudo-philosophical dialogue, bland action sequences, and even blander voice acting, 'Rise of Technovore' is a misfire in almost every way. Gone is Tony Stark's distinctive personality, gone is the sharp interplay between him and Pepper Potts, and the movie manages to take all the most interesting ideas and toss them out the window in favor of puerile junk. If you're a fan of Marvel, you're going to be disappointed. If you're a fan of anime, you can do so much better than this. There's virtually nothing to recommend about this picture. Skip it. 'Nuff said!"

The website goes over to grant the movie  2/5

The second site to review Iron-Man: rise of Technovore is DVDtalk.com. And this is what they had to say about it:

"I really do want to like Iron Man: Rise of Technovore. My inner fanboy loves seeing these familiar characters translated to anime, the designs and action look great, and the way the movie strings together so many genres -- spy intrigue, robot wars, a high-speed car chase, the dreamlike standoff with Stane, an extended climax that's sort of like Dead Space meetsGamera before building to a gloriously insane crescendo -- every last bit of it is right up my alley. Alas, the screenplay's a shitstorm, what passes for plot and characterization are woefully uninvolving, and even though it looks nice, the action throughout Rise of Technovore isn't even enough of a consistent adrenaline rush to function as a turn-your-brain-off empty spectacle. Nah. Just Skip It."

Third site is DailyMarvelite who also gave the movie a very negative 4/10 score and review:

"Having waited for this anime since the day it was announced, i can’t express how disappointed i am from the final result. The strange movie plot, cheesy dialogues, eyes hurting imagery and low budget animation makes Iron-Man: Rise of Technovore an embarrassment to the Direct to Video Super Hero Genre, especially when company’s rival (DC Animation) is producing 3 QUALITY features a year. Better step up your game Marvel!."
