AQUAMAN: Here's A Closer Look At Arthur Curry's Yellow And Green Comic Accurate Costume - SPOILERS

Recent Aquaman set visits revealed that Arthur Curry will end up wearing his classic comic book costume by the time the credits roll and that's now been revealed on the Comic-Con floor. Check it out...

We recently learned that Aquaman will revolve around Arthur Curry and Orm racing to retrieve King Atlan's Trident and finding out who is worthy of ruling Atlantis. Well, as expected, it appears as if the Justice League member will indeed be crowned the underwater nation's one true king because some merchandise spotted on the Comic-Con floor shows the hero in his epic comic accurate costume.

James Wan confirmed that he would be wearing it by the time the credits roll but he's also wielding the Trident here. While some fans had their doubts about what Jason Momoa would look like in this comic accurate armour, the green gloves, yellow scales, and green boots all work perfectly and come together to create a truly awesome suit for the character to wear in the DC Extended Universe moving forward.

What do you think about Aquaman's yellow and green duds? Do you hope it gets a significant amount of screentime when the movie is released this December? Share your thoughts on that down below.

Glorious. Like a Peter David comic coming to life......minus the hook.

@AyMan - I kind of feel like James Wan's Aquaman film did not fit with Jason Momoa but for the sake of Continuity and damage control he had to include the Snyder choice actor.

But with proper writing and character development I believe Momoa can grow into a fan favorite.

@SonOfAGif - Patty said a similar statement during Wonder Woman where Gal Gadot wasn't her ideal choice for Wonder Woman...until she got to actually know the actress involved.

When Wan signed up, he knew, just like Patty knew. Negotiations also take time, so who knows, maybe Wan knew Momoa was cast and was okay or understood it. This was all back in 2014-2015 when it was announced, so yeah.

@SonOfAGif - I don't see why Momoa wouldn't fit with Wan's vision for the movie.

Just like any film franchise (Marvel, DC, Fast & Furious, Bond etc...) the actors are already established so the directors are chosen for what they can add to the franchise.

The DC cast is no different. They were already cast so the directors would have already known this coming in. If they didn't think they could work with the cast then they wouldn't have taken the job.

@bcom - Right but a director has a vision for the film and an actor may not fit the bill. Look at Matt Reeves. His Batman film written and thought of without Affleck. He didn't want Affleck.

If you look at everything we have seen for Aquaman thus far this new vision is totally different from the Atlantis Snyder created in Justice League.

Look at how comic accurate Orm & Black Manta look. Snyder would have never went that route because he wanted a dark and savage looking Aquaman world. And that is why he cast Momoa because he has that grizzly look.

@AyMan - I honestly still feel Gal Gadot is miscast as Wonder Woman. The woman cannot act worth a damn.

@Ragnarocknroll - We are stuck with her though and if she got recasted the feminists would be up and arms and Brett Ratner would have taken even more heat.

Just finished reading that run actually.
Loved it.

@SonOfAGif - I don't think that it wasn't that he didn't want Affleck. I think WB and DC had to think about keeping the script flexible to a certain degree for if Ben decided to leave or not.

I guess we won't know the full story about that as it's all reported rumors at the moment but there's been a lot of "will he / won't he?" speculation about Ben continuing as Batman. He started off writing, directing and starring in The Batman and then announced he won't be directing because he thought he was taking on too much and wanted to concentrate more on the acting. He picked Reeves as the director so I wouldn't think Reeves first move would be to kick Ben to the curb. I think it's more about Reeves and WB keeping their options open for if Ben decides to step down as the bat.

Personally, I think what we've seen of Aquaman so far looks great and that Momoa is still great casting. In fact, if you look at all of the characters in JL, he was one of the ligher, jokier ones. I don't think his casting was ever an issue for Wan. Like I said, he was bought on as director long after Momoa was cast so if his vision didn't suit the studio and the actors, he wouldn't have taken or gotten the job.

@Ragnarocknroll - recasting her now would be a fools errand. She is to WW what chirs evans is to captain america. She IS WW to the majority of the public and they love her.

@LNBfett12 - MCU is King right now but I honestly want to get to the point where I can say the DCEU is better.

I care for DC characters a lot more in general but the DCEU isn't doing them Justice.
