AVENGERS: ENDGAME Lands Earlier Release Date In The UK
While the North American release of Avengers: Endgame was recently moved from May to April, fans in the UK & Ireland will reportedly get to see it even sooner than expected. Hit the jump for more details.
Marvel fans in the UK were dealt a serious blow last year when the World Cup delayed the release of Ant-Man and The Wasp by a month. However, that was a rare one-off because most Marvel Studios movies hit the region days and sometimes weeks before the US.
In a bid to avoid spoilers, Marvel moved both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame from May to April, but it's been confirmed today that UK fans will be getting the latter one day sooner on April 25th.
While some fans will be annoyed by this, it doesn't make that much of a difference; after all, Avengers: Endgame will be shown in the US on Thursday evening anyway so the UK is only really getting it 12 hours earlier and that should make it somewhat easier to avoid spoilers popping up online.
Tickets haven't gone on sale for the movie yet but more than likely will in late February/early March. How do you guys feel about this news? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
