AVENGERS: ENDGAME TV Spot Reminds Us What The Surviving Heroes Are Fighting For

The Russo Brothers have shared a new TV promo for Avengers: Endgame via their official Twitter account, and while it's light on new footage, it does serve as a reminder of what's at stake for our heroes.

"Today we have a chance to take it all back. Whatever it takes..."

Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo (well, whichever one of them happened to be on Twitter at the time) have shared a new TV spot for the upcoming Infinity War follow-up.

There doesn't appear to be any new footage, but we do get a look at some of the characters that vanished after "The Snap," along with shots of the surviving members of the super-team from the recent trailer as they vow to do whatever it takes to reverse the Decimation caused by the Infinity Stones and return their friends to the land of the living.

At this point, we already know Cap, Iron Man, Black Widow and co. are going to be successful - but will any of them pay the ultimate price to defeat The Mad Titan one and for all?

"The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios' grand conclusion to twenty-two films, "Avengers: Endgame."

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26.

@HeavyMetal4Life - the other night I was wondering of this scene and how maybe instead of tightening up the shiled he was actually removing it, for a 'the gauntlet is on the ground I' ll grab it' scenario, making the undo snap or stoping thanos, idk just came up to my mind.

@HeavyMetal4Life - been watching all the movies in chronological order to get ready for Endgame, and i gotta say, all the most emotional scenes involve Cap and i gotta be honest, i dont think i'm ready if they kill him... i hope they dont but i wouldnt be shocked if he did... either way... Cap will forever be my boy

@MotherGooseUPus - he will forever be the heart of the MCU and my favorite character in this franchise, even if his time has come to take his final dance with Peggy.

I'm only 3 movies into my rewatch, lol.

@HeavyMetal4Life -

FACT x1000000.

dude, get on it. i found this order thing on screenrant that was like if you start on X date and watch 2 movies a week, you'll watch them all prior to the day before Endgame starts.. so i'm following that patiently waiting for tickets to go on sale

@HeavyMetal4Life - If someone dies for good we must do what Cap said and walk it off.

@MotherGooseUPus - haha don't worry, I've got my order planned out, even created a calendar with which days for which films. I'm spacing it out, since I'm also watching other shows and busy with life on certain days. My rewatch list is a slightly modified version of MCU chronological...

@MotherGooseUPus - It's amazing how the Russos turned the one I thought to be the most lame Avenger to what turned out to be my favourite superhero in the MCU.
My prediction is that the movie ends with him and Peggy finally dancing with each other. That would be beautiful.

@OuzoPowerMan - if that happens, I now hope it does, not a dry eye in the house.

@HeavyMetal4Life - THIS TV spot is MASTERFUL.

And that gif you posted, Cap strapping his shield down, is his Dies irae (Latin: "Day of Wrath"). His vengeance is nigh! The cost will will be great to bear. But, upon his shoulders, half the universe awaits restlessly for its rebirth.

@MotherGooseUPus - If Coulson was the glue early on then Cap is the emotional center of the MCU. Chris Evans has done such a wonderful job with that character. I think that the death cult who are calling for major characters to die is off base. We saw all the deaths on the last one and my hope is that they don't off any of the originals. Bring Evans back for the occasional cameo but don't whack Cap! It just ain't right!

@OuzoPowerMan -
It would be cool if he got to travel to an alternate reality and pick up with Peggy where they left off before the crash. Then you could do a What If Cap Lived!

@MotherGooseUPus - well said!! Its going to be devastating. Like we all know whats going to happen but i dont think any of us are actually ready..What Evans the studio have done with Cap is amazing - Literally the soul and heart of the MCU. Epitomises goodness to the core and carries an ethos which each and everyone of us - in real life should take onboard. #CaptainmyCaptain

@OuzoPowerMan - Semi-agree. BW and Hawkeye are the "lame" ones and even them i enjoy and get better with each movie... however, Cap is by far my fav and what the Russos did, and Evans, is nothing short of amazing.. Honestly, no clue how they will send off Cap, but i'll be crying anyways, lol

Time travel, this will allow SHIELD to be up and running again (in the film universe)allow Cap to finally see Peggy again, Loki will be alive again, " The sun will shine on us again" and allow Killmonger to be alive in the BP sequel.( there were reports of him returning) so basically the snap will never have happened.

@Tony93 - I know I know but that's the theory everyone has had for half a year now. We need people to think crazier. What else do we all got?
Feralwookiee
Feralwookiee - 3/21/2019, 12:04 PM
@Tony93 - As much as I'd like all those results, I HATE time travel as a fix. To me, it invalidates everything that came before it, and if so, what was the point of the first half of this story if the 2nd half renders it null and void? Again, I have a lot of faith in Marvel and the Russos, but if time travel just wipes away EVERY consequence of Infinity War it might feel a little cheap imo.
SonOfAGif
SonOfAGif - 3/21/2019, 12:10 PM
@Vigor - I don't think time travel will be that drastic. I think they just prevent the Tesseract from leaving Earth keeping the tesseract, mind stone, and time stone on Earth. And Tony will build the Iron Gauntlet to wield the 3 stones and the earth will be ready for war against Thanos.

Tony93
Tony93 - 3/21/2019, 12:34 PM
@Vigor - thats all I got lol, after looking at set photos, I mean half the universe got killed, it'll be hard to not use time to travel, theres no way of moving on from that

It's a small thing, but I'm glad they included Wasp, since she was still dusted, even if it wasn't in Infinity War.
