THE WALKING DEAD's Ross Marquand Doesn't Know If The Red Skull Will Return For AVENGERS 4

Last night on the latest episode of Talking Dead, Aaron actor Ross Marquand was asked if he'll be appearing as The Red Skull in Marvel's Avengers 4, but if he knows anything, he's keeping schtum about it!

The Walking Dead actor Ross Marquand replaced Captain America: The First Avenger's Hugo Weaving as Red Skull in Infinity War for the key sequence with Thanos and Gamora on Vormir, but if the villain is set to return for the still-untitled fourth Avengers movie, we're going to have to wait a while longer for confirmation.

Marquand appeared on last night's mid-season finale episode of Talking Dead, and at one point Robert Kirkman quizzed him about his future as "The Stonekeeper" in The MCU, asking outright if he was going to be in Avengers 4. "I don't know. I can't answer that question," replied the actor. "I really don't know."

There's a chance Marquand isn't just playing coy here and genuinely isn't sure if he'll appear in the movie, as he could have shot additional scenes as Red Skull that weren't used for Infinity War. Then again, he may well have gone back and filmed something specifically for Avengers 4 and simply doesn't want to let the cat out of the bag.

He was quite good as a version of the Red Skull who is a shadow of his formal self. I actually thought it was Hugo Weaving when I first saw the film and he appeared. One of the coolest and most unexpected reveals in these films.

I hope he does return somehow, especially since Thanos claimed the Soul stone.

Was fricking awesome to see, and was genuinely surprised he showed up.

He did a good job in the limited time as him, and would love for him to come back into the fold.

His return was great. Just a broken man lost in time for like 60 to 70 years. Still want Cap to see him again after sooooo many years and see hes just a broken man.

I really dont know why he wouldnt return in avengers 4. Everything about him being in infinity war was to set the stage for some kind of return in the direct followup. Otherwise hes just chilling on some abandoned planet for all eternity. Seems like a pretty big waste.

Monthly reminder that one of the heroes in Infinity War tries to straight up kill themselves and the movie is so brutal that that doesn't even crack most people's top-most-[frick]ed-up-things about that movie
