AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Has Now Set An April Box Office Record With $25.2 Million From Monday Screenings
After setting a phenomenal record for the best opening weekend ever at the domestic box office with $257.7M, Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War has beaten Universal’s Furious 7 for the best ever April Monday.
Though it's not quite as impressive an accomplishment as setting the best domestic opening weekend record, Avengers: Infinity War has now claimed the best April Monday of all time with $25.2M from yesterday's screenings, soundly beating Universal’s Furious 7 ($14M on April 6, 2015).

However, the all-time Monday record still belongs to Black Panther, which earned a whopping $40.1M on President's Day back in February.
Infinity War actually ranks 9th on the list of best Mondays overall, well below the likes of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story - though that can be attributed to those films benefiting from schools being off during the holidays.
The Marvel epic's current domestic total is is $282.9M, which means it should definitely surpass the five-day record ($300M) held by The Force Awakens by the end of the day.
