Hot Toys is a company known for producing extremely detailed and high-quality action figures and as they continue to pull back the curtain on their Avengers: Infinity War line, the latest to be revealed is Groot. He's obviously undergone some major changes since the last time we saw him as the adorable baby is now a full-blown teenager and clearly ready and willing to take the fight to the Mad Titan.

The extraordinarily movie-accurate Groot is expertly crafted based on his appearance in Avengers: Infinity War, featuring highly detailed head sculpt and two interchangeable
face sculpts with stunning likeness, impressive paint application on his body reflecting his distinctive appearance, blaster rifle, handheld game console and a movie-themed figure stand featuring the upcoming release's logo.

The Groot we met in Guardians of the Galaxy was extremely powerful and confident in his abilities but this version of the sentient tree is coming to terms with his powers, hence why he has a gun here!

While Groot will be copying Rocket and wielding a gun for a good chunk of Avengers: Infinity War, he still has powers and here we get a better idea of how those will be portrayed on the big screen.

When we first met the adolescent version of Groot at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, he was busy ignoring Star-Lord and playing on a video game console which will clearly return in this movie!

James Gunn recently confirmed that this version of Groot is actually the son of the Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy and that no doubt goes some way in explaining his change of attitude.

How long Groot will remain an adolescent is unclear, though, and there's a very good chance he'll be a full-blown adult by the time he returns in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 which will be interesting!

The comic book version of Groot recently gained the ability to speak full sentences and while that's not necessarily something we'll see on screen, it would obviously give Vin Diesel a lot more to do.

So, what exactly will Groot be getting up to in Avengers: Infinity War? Based on what we've seen so far, most of his screentime will see him share the screen with his old pal Rocket and new friend Thor.

Groot and Rocket will accompany Thor on his journey to forge a new weapon and we've recently learned that's called the Stormbreaker. Groot's contribution to that is going to be its handle!

What's going to lead to the youngster having to help Thor out in that respect is hard to say but it gives him an important role in Avengers: Infinity War and gives the Stormbreaker a unique look.

Bear in mind that it's previously been reported that Groot will find an unexpected mentor in the movie and while it's possible that will be Thor, fans have been speculating about who else it could be.

Spider-Man would be an interesting choice, especially as Groot is close in age to the wall-crawler and could easily emulate the hero to swing around the battlefield and take the fight to Thanos' goons.

Then again, considering the fact this version of Groot appears to be a bona fide badass, perhaps he'll look to someone like Bucky or Iron Man as a mentor as he runs around blasting his new gun.

Well, he's not quite as cute as Baby Groot is he? The hero's body looks pretty gangly but that's what you'd expect from a sentient tree who is going through his teenage years during this movie.

The Guardians of the Galaxy will presumably return in Avengers 4 and it will be interesting seeing how much the hero changes between the two movies...if at all! They are one big story after all.

The Rocket figure has yet to be officially revealed so we'll hopefully see that soon. There are a wave of other characters yet to be revealed, though, so we may have to be patient for that!

Here, we see the trio together as they each look ready for a fight against Thanos and his hoard of Outriders. They'll presumably make their way to Wakanda after creating the Stormbreaker hammer, though.

These are the accessories that the Groot figure comes with and fans of the character will no doubt want to pick this one up as soon as possible. Just be prepared to pay an awful lot for him last this year!

It's a pretty much guarantee Groot not dying in Infinity Wars. Marvel wouldn't have gaul to killer another Groot and a teenager one at that
