Avengers: Infinity War has been in theaters across the globe for three weeks and it's already the fifth biggest film at the worldwide box office. With a current total of $1.606 billion, the epic ensemble has passed The Avengers ($1.519 billion) to take that spot and the top five is rounded out by Jurassic World ($1.671 billion), Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($2.068 billion), Titanic ($2.187 billion), and Avatar ($2.788 billion). That's an incredible feat and one it's hard to imagine another movie topping.
While Avengers: Infinity War is now the biggest superhero movie of all-time worldwide, it still has a way to go in North Ameria because it sits at $547 million compared to Black Panther's $696 million.
This weekend, the Russo Brothers helmed release scored $61.8 million at the US box office and made $281 million overseas, mostly thanks to a massive $200 million debut in China. Will it hit the $2 billion mark in the coming weeks? With Deadpool 2 and Solo: A Star Wars Story on the horizon, it's impossible to say as the box office is going to be very unpredictable as those either under or overperform.
