AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR: Kevin Feige Sheds Some Light On When To Expect The Trailer

Now that we've seen the final trailers for Justice League and Star Wars: The Last Jedi, fans are anxious for a first look at Avengers: Infinity War. Well, it seems it's coming sooner rather than later...

So far, we've seen pretty much nothing from Avengers: Infinity War. The movie finished shooting a while back and production on Avengers 4 is well under way but all that's surfaced are some set photos, a few pieces of concept art, and a behind the scenes video. As a result, fans are understandably anxious for a proper sneak peek and it now seems it's coming our way before the year is over.

That was to be expected as it being attacked to Thor: Ragnarok (or more likely Star Wars: The Last Jedi) is pretty much inevitable. However, there are some who believe that Marvel might save it for Black Panther - which is far too late to start promotion - so it's good to have confirmation we'll see it in 2017.

Of course, the trailer from Comic-Con leaked online and gave us a rough idea of what to expect even if it was hard to make out what was going on. Regardless of whether we get a cleaned up version of that or something totally new, it will be great to get a proper look at Avengers: Infinity War and you have to hope that it will be accompanied by some plot details and stills. Are you excited for this trailer?

I just always kind of assumed it would be attached to The Last Jedi.

@TheUnworthyThor - I don't know why anyone ever expected it before Thor: Ragnorak came out.

The beginning of the Infinity War trailer is a direct spoiler to Thor: Ragnorak.

@thewanderer - I dont think the infinity war trailer isnt a spoiler too ragnarok, but it could be seen as such. Makes more sense if it is attached to the last jedi

@malsemarcel - Iv'e seen the leaked trailer. Its 100 hundred percent a spoiler.

He is wearing the armor from Ragnarok for a start.

@CrazyCipher - Everybody saw the leaked trailer. And you're right it is the same armor, but in all the movies before ragnarok he has been wearing the other same armor (or a very similar one)

My guess is that Thanos invade Knowhere for the collector's gem and in his invasion he destroys knowhere. But in his attempt, thor tried to stop him (and failed, which explains the head crushing scene). The guardians also responded to the invasion, but where to late and find an unconcious thor.

@malsemarcel - "Everybody saw the leaked trailer."

nah, a lot of people have restraint. That post had tons of people going "nope, not going to watch unless it's full quality", me being one of them.

@thewanderer - Maybe because its the last marvel film of the year, so thats why people assume it will be with Ragnarok and most Marvel films coming in May tend to have a teaser around the October-December Window, mostly October

@CrazyCipher - It looks like a spoiler, but it isn't necessarily.

There are things that could happen in Infinity War that leave Thor stranded in space when the Guardians find him. Malsemarcel gave a pretty good example.

How do we know Thor doesn't end up on Knowhere at the end of Ragnarok, which is where he is when Thanos shows up for the Infinity Gem that is there? He kicks the shit out Thor and leaves him floating in space.

That seems very likely, actually.

Plus, didn't they already say that the Infinity War trailer doesn't spoil Thor Ragnarok?

@BloodyBed - Alright mate, I stand corrected. But its more about the point made after the everybody saw it statement

You guys are just assuming that the first trailer will be the same as the comic con trailer. The scene of Thor and the Guardians could just be left out.

@eagc1995 - it doesn't have to be released with a Marvel film. Thor: Ragnarok's trailer didn't even play before Spiderman in my area.

I expect the Infinity War to come out a week and a half after the Thor trailer online to massive review. Then will likely start running in theaters with Coco on 11/22.
