AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Promo Poster Brings Together Earth's Mightiest Heroes And The Guardians Of The Galaxy

A new promo poster for Avengers: Infinity War has debuted showcasing uniting members of Earth's Mightiest Heroes and the Guardians of the Galaxy. Needless to say, it would look epic on any fan's wall!

This week, Avengers: Infinity War was given the spotlight in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly and while it's good to finally get some official stills from the Marvel movie, that doesn't mean the promo art which has been popping up online for weeks now is going to show any signs of slowing down! The latest puts the spotlight on Avengers and Guardians alike; is your favourite hero missing?

There's a great group of characters here regardless as we get to see the likes of Spider-Man and Star-Lord standing alongside the likes of Shuri and The Hulk, meetings fans never expected to see!

It's now believed that the new Avengers: Infinity War trailer will debut next week and that will hopefully bring some character posters featuring live-action shots of the characters together (rather than just the promo art we see below). Despite this not being live-action imagery, though, it's still seriously cool and would look pretty great framed and up on the wall, don't you guys think?

I like it. Spidey being in the center is a nice touch.

@PBIRD - Hawkeye I assume they are going to explain away ... I'm starting to think he's not in this movie (or maybe he shows up eventually in the Ronin-looking get-up and they don't want to spoil that?) ... I'm also working on the assumption that Ant-Man & The Wasp is going to take place chronologically before Infinity War and they will end up stuck in the microverse or something.

I'm not sure how they are going to get around Valkyrie (who they definitely won't kill off yet) or Korg (who they might) if they aren't accounted for, given that it seems certain that the Asgardian refugee ship is going to get destroyed. Perhaps they will survive and be lost in space like Thor to be found later.

@ptick - yeah, HWK didn't even have a cover with EW. Also agreement with Antman and the Wasp. They learn something from the quantum, and come back in part 4 with an answer to Thanos.

I also think that the debris the guardians are going thru in the leaked trailer is definitely the ASGARDIAN ship. Which means, everyone is dead, captured, or escaped somehow.

Thanos don't seem like a prisoners kind of cat.
But we have seen nothing of them in any material thus far and I was really hoping Valkrie would get real screen time in this movie!

@HeavyMetal4Life - I still can't believe this movie is happening. Back in 2012, 6 super heroes was considered a lot. This cast is literally quadrupled the size

@HeavyMetal4Life - who you looking forward to seeing the RUSSOs direct the most?

besides thanos of course.
PBIRD
PBIRD - 3/9/2018, 9:21 AM
@heavymetal4life @Deonox - and it honestly seems like the method they are using to tell this story is 100% not going to be overcrowded. Breaking them down into teams of 3-6 all on different missions.

I mean if you think about it, the best example of this thus far is BLACK PANTHER. That show had more active and equal characters than any Marvel movie thus far.

T'Challa
T'Chaka
Zuni
O'Koye
Suri
M'Baku
N'Jobu
Klaue
W'Kabi
Killmonger
Ross
Nakia
Ramonda

I mean... we know their names, we understand their characters. To be honest 100%, Coogler did this like no one else has yet. It didn't feel over crowded at all.

@PBIRD - Hmmm. That's an interesting question. Besides Thanos and continuing with characters like Cap and Bucky that they've already handled well, I'm probably most interested in how they handle Thor and the Guardians.

@HeavyMetal4Life - I love the haunting nature of this scene and the Del Toro's performance. I really hope they pull off the power of the stones in all their glorious history.
PBIRD
PBIRD - 3/9/2018, 10:44 AM
@Deonox @heavymetal4life - seriously though, coogler did it with ease and almost none of them had back stories yet.

And I cant wait to see Russos direct Thor and Strange

@PBIRD - I need an Airport fight level hype action set piece for infinity war of all of the heroes vs Thanos

Eh. We've seen all of these characters poses in various promo art. Would like to see something new instead of just copy pasting the characters. I get that this is only a promo poster but I'd like to see an actual not promo art poster. Still super excited for this movie and cant wait!

I feel like I might be in the minority, but I really like Spideys new suit.
Nightwing1015
Nightwing1015 - 3/9/2018, 7:51 AM
@Schme83 - I don't hate it. I just think it's a shame for the characters not to have their "classic" looks considering this is the culmination of the entire MCU.

JosephCronos92 - 3/9/2018, 7:53 AM
@Schme83 - It has grown on me, i didn't like it at first but now seing a bit of it in motion, as well as how's been pushed on the promo art it doesn't look that bad. I'll wait and see how it'll play out in IW.

SpideyPuffsMJ - 3/9/2018, 8:19 AM
@Nightwing1015 - Agreed I love the Homecoming suit. But for this movie, he really does need the new suit. We already saw him get chokeslammed by Thanos in the trailer. He'd be dead instantly.
MeAreLegend
MeAreLegend - 3/9/2018, 8:37 AM
@Schme83 - I love it too. It reminds me of Ben Reilly's Spider-Man Costume because of the huge spider on his chest
BobbyBraceface8
BobbyBraceface8 - 3/9/2018, 10:39 AM
@Nightwing1015 - That's one of the things I understand but dislike about what I've seen of this film so far because everybody is different and not in their classic garb. The only character I'm most interested in according to how they look is Tony because that bleeding edge armor is too clean.
Equivocal
Equivocal - 3/9/2018, 11:29 AM
@Schme83 -

actually
as a true spidey fan
I like this suit and the one before in Homecoming
we know Spidey had way too many costumes in the comics, is normal to have different ones on film, I don't see why he should be stuck in the plain 'clothed' suit.
I really like this new one, can't wait to see in action !

Gotta be honest, i don't like this kind of posters, they don't make lotta sense, too random.
What we got in...SDCC? That was the best.
Not a fan of those EW cover either.
I get it tho, it's hard to come up with something that makes everyone happy, with such a rich cast and all.
