Fan Cast for the Black Order in Avengers Infinity War Part 1 and 2

While Phase 3 is yet to begin after Avengers Age of Ultron, lets take a look at some of the villains we want to accompany Thanos on searching for the Infinity Stones in upcoming Part 1 of Avengers 3 and will team up with him against the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy in Part 2 and who we would want to portray the members.

So far Thanos, who first appeared in the end credits of the Avengers has been confirmed to be played more officially by Josh Brolin for the next wave of Marvel films and he will make about more than a billion people excited once he appears as Thanos on screen wielding the power of all 6 infinity gems for the Marvel Cinematic Universe's 2 part main event film

now for Thanos' followers, known all together as the Black Order, here are the actors that I feel should portray them Maggie Q for Proxima Midnight

Luke Evans for Corvus Glaive

Ryback for Black Dwarf

Tania Raymonde for Supergiant

and Cillian Murphy for Ebony Maw

feel free to comment on how you think of this crew of cast members for the Black Order in the Upcoming Avengers Infinity War

Why assume they're in it? If anything, there's no chance of them being in it because the movies will probably adapt the Infinity War story arc.

Plus, if Marvel's gotta pay ALL of its stars over the courses of these movies, you can forget the possibility of introducing a bunch of new character with actors on a two-movie contract expecting the same pay as everyone else.

@NovaCorpsFan I think MArvel is calling it Infinity War but are adapting this:

It's a far more iconic and beloved event.

i hope the cull obsidian are in infinity war and GOTG 2. they are thanos's best, they are loyal to a fault (except the ebony maw), it would be awesome to see them on screen and they may not have been in infinity war but remember this is an adaptation nothing has been done 100% to the comics. i have an idea for GOTG2 that features them and sets up infinity war (of course sadly the finished film will probably be nothing like it at all, but im sure it will still be awesome).

Yea, I'm pretty sure it's just called Infinity War...
Not adapting th actual comic completely

@SnapperCarr
I prefer to just think of Infinity Gauntlet, War and Crusade as one giant event.

Am I the only one who thinks the name of every member of the Black Order sounds like it was made up by a twelve-year old who was trying to hard to sound "cool" and "dark"? Seriously? Ebony Maw? Proxima Midnight? Corvus Glaive??

@Novacorpsfan why do you think they were created? The movies will probably adapt and mix infinity war gauntlet and just infinity where they all first appeared. and with marvels track record of there movies influencing comics I think they planted these seeds awhile ago. If you havnt read infinity I suggest you do because it is totally plausible that is what we are going to get with elements of the older story sprinkled in.

And I guess you forgot about the other which im sure was supposed to have a bigger role until jame gunn killed him. He was a new character. They are purely marvel owned created for the movies. bet you.

@cavaliertunes If you understand whart the names mean then it doesnt sound like that. "cavalier tunes"

@XTankDX
I understand what the names mean. I'm not an idiot. That doesn't make them sound any better.

The best approximate meaning for "Proxima Midnight" is "approaching midnight" or "close to midnight."
"Ebony Maw" literally means "Black Jaw" or "Black Mouth."
"Corvus" is Latin for "Crow" or "Raven," and "Glaive" is French for "Sword." So "Corvus Glaive" means "Raven Sword"?

They still sound stupid to me. And, even if there's some other translation or meaning I'm not privy to, they still sound like they were chosen less for their meaning and more because "ooh that sounds cool."

I'll be posting an editorial later, I suggest you read it because I think The Other's role was big in the past in terms of helping Thanos but moving forward, he may have a role as I don't think he's REALLY dead. I know Gunn said he was, but I don't believe him. Not only that, but The Other, as far as I'm concerned from what I've seen of him, is Grandmaster.

And when you read the editorial, you'll know why I think he's Grandmaster.

Red skull and Ronan could come back as they were "killed" by the stones. I reckon, perhaps, that Thanos can/will revive them to do his bidding.

Nova- you got a new editorial great cant wait. interesting that you think he might be the grandmaster i look forward to finding out why you might think that.

@DrDoom, yeah I assumed the Mandarin would be first on the list of people that PredatorRising would want in the movie. Lol. And that next he would speculate about Iron Man being a secret agent who somehow infiltrates Thanos's inner circle to find out his plan. (And since one of the Sony emails mentioned Spiderman also being like James Bond, I assume Predator misunderstood again and will soon be writing editorials about how the next Spidey movie will showcase Spiderman being more like a secret agent and coming up with new gadgets to help defeat the Sinister Six. Lmao.)
Lhornbk
Lhornbk - 12/26/2014, 3:52 PM
As for this editorial, I have never heard of these villians, but since it was PredatorRising who wrote this, I'm going to assume that this is a horrible idea.

I think the main question is if say those characters are brought back by thanos who is going to face Thanos. It wouldn't make much sense if all the avengers attack at once. So it's going to have to be one to fight him at first and get beat up and then the others can come and help once they are done with the henchmen. So I guess that means it would have to be Iron Man who takes the lead.

Great list.

I wished Black Dwarf was used instead of Ronan. Save Ronan for Captain Marvel.

I can guarantee you none of these actors will appear in none of these roles. You're overthinking the players in this story.

It'll be a bunch of heroes, nebula, Mephisto (played by Al Pacino)

Marvel ain't gonna waste it's valuable time and money on a character named Black Dwarf lol

Seriously tho, why is there no mention of the mandarin. Also, for reals, Pacino as Mephisto. Make it so.
