Jman and Johnny Love Movie Review: AVATAR Blu-ray!

Was the over all viewing pleasure just as enjoyable in 2-D versus 3-D? Jman makes similarities to AVATAR and Titanic to explain James Cameron's proven Movie Magic Formula! Plus a special shout out to Sigourney Weaver The Queen of Sci-fi!

This is the best selling movie of all time! Ever! In the theaters and at home fans have been grinding teeth to get their hands on their very own Blu-ray copy of James Cameron's AVATAR. Jman and Johnny were lucky enough to receive their copy from Fox. Here's what we think!

Many thanks to Fox studios for providing the Blu-ray copy of AVATAR!!!

Sigourney Weaver will always be The Queen of Sci-Fi! Thanks for ALL the cool movies over the years and whats yet to come.

Very nice review guys. I'll always think of Sigourney Weaver as Ripley too! And at two billion dollars, a sequel is definitely getting made. Shame there's no special features on the BR disc.

On a side note, can you believe that after all this time of showing the picture of the Iron Man 2 after credits spoiler on the videos section of the "What's New" page, they finally decided to put up a "Spoiler Warning" image to block it off. A bit too late imo.

All i saw of the blue ray was the menu at walmart. And i have to say... it looked 20X better than the 3D experience i had in theaters!!! It looked so much more breath taking in a 2D HDMI rendition!!! I will most certainly buy this Blue Ray, and not DVD as i thought i would prior. WHEN THE [frick] WILL THEY MAKE HDMI PLASMA SCREENs FOR THEATERS?!?!?!?!!?!?!?! THATS the way i wanna see movies for 20$ a pop!!!

I wish I could say I had something to do with that Mario but I have not viewed the end scene myself. It's to much fun to watch on the big screen, I dont want to spoil it for myself. But I hear ya a spoiler warning should have been added at first :P

@sho1138 no need to embarass us all by telling us big your dick is.

Good Review though i think the story deserves less credit how cliche it is as well as the characters.

@jman

It's not even that I'm choosing to go to the page and see the scene. As I'm scrolling down to check the news on CBM, the spoiler image is right in my face under the videos section. It's crazy

gtrman- I dunno... would the theater 3D glasses work on a Blu Ray version of it? I just saw the menu so i have no idea if it does or if there are different glasses offered with it. All i know is that it kicked the theater version's ass!!!

Great review guys but I think I'll probably wait until they release a 3D version before I pick it up on blu-ray! :P

I'm with Shaman, not a fan of the 3D B.S. I just want to watch a clean, crisp, visually stunning movie without having to readjust my eyes every five minutes.

I saw the movie for the first time when I bought the blue-ray. I have to say DAMN! Incredible! I had no expectations for this movie and it blew me away. Although it was predictable from a storyline POV, it was none-the-less entertaining and definately worth watching again.
