AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR's Blu-ray Release Date Has Now Seemingly Been Revealed

Just days after we learned that Avengers: Infinity War will be released on Digital HD on July 31st, it's now been revealed when Marvel's epic ensemble will hit Blu-ray. Hit the jump for further details!

Over the weekend, we learned when Avengers: Infinity War will be released on Digital HD and now Target and Best Buy's 4K exclusives seemingly confirm the epic ensemble's physical release on DVD and Blu-ray. As expected, it will hit stores on August 14th, exactly two weeks after that digital release on July 31st (a two-week gap has become standard for the release of movies in these different formats).

As you can see below, both Target and Best Buy are offering exclusive 4K versions of the movie. The former has a 40-page "filmmaker gallery book" and will retail for $32.99. Best Buy, meanwhile, will come bundled with a "Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years" disc with new behind the scenes featurettes and a cover which puts Thanos front and centre. This is a little more expensive as it'll be $34.99.

More details will no doubt be revealed soon as the Avengers: Infinity War Blu-ray is bound to be crammed full of special features and deleted scenes. The question is, will it come bundled with a first look at Captain Marvel? (after all, it's being released after Ant-Man and The Wasp) What do you guys think? Will you be picking this up when it's released? As always, share your thoughts down below.

That Target 4K looks sweet. I normally buy the blu-rays off of Amazon, but that gallery book is an instant buy. I wished Amazon had exclusives like this.

@LadiesmanBumble - I’ve gotten all of them at Target since the first Guardians. Before that was Walmart with their Winter Soldier exclusive and Amazon for everything else

@MrBillCipher - It's pretty fantastic. I thought the rest of the score was, too. Probably the best Silvestri's done in years, if not a decade.

@Vigor - it’s the Target one that wasn’t revealed. We saw the Best Buy one a few weeks ago but had only heard of the Target one and only had a placeholder image

Is phase 3 now over or does that end with avengers 4?

If so phase 3 has been my favourite phase, followed by phase 1.

@ClungePool - 1. Ant-Man and the Wasp 2. Captain Marvel and 3. Avengers 4 Movie... after those the Phase is over... i think... not entirely sure if it's confirmed.

MUTO123 - 5/21/2018, 3:14 AM
@MugiwaraNoLuNa - I think that’s been confirmed. And even if it hasn’t been, there’s no way in hell Phase 4 only consists of 3 movies.

Ha1frican - 5/21/2018, 5:38 AM
Hmm... so here’s the thing. I never get Steelbooks bc I own every movie and TV and want them to match so I get the slipcover version. BUT this steeelboom comes with a slipcover... BUT I want the art book.... BUT i like the slipcover fir the Steelbook better. So looks like I’m getting both but putting the steelbook slipcover on the standard version. I did something similar to my Captain America: The First Avenger Blu-ray. I got the 3D Blu-ray but also got the bestbuy exclusive one and just put that slipcover on it to make my own version

I preordered from Zaavi to score the 3D blu-ray, which has been dropped in the U.S.

But if that First 10 Years disc is exclusive, I might have to think about this.

I just don't care about the art book or the case, I only want 2 things- Bloopers and commentary. I used to love that I could get those on DVD, since I can play those on the laptop. But, it seems like you have to buy BluRay, or you get nothing. At least Marvel does give you good bonus content, unlike the garbage you get from DC. I really don't want to watch Patty Jenkins talk about what she did, as much as hearing a good breakdown of the film while watching it. And I really could do without the costume designs too. All of that stuff is about as exciting as getting to the "Extra Features" on a disk, and finding it is just a theatrical trailer or movie poster.

discs are kind of obsolete at this point and time. If I want to rewatch infinity war, I’ll rent it for five bucks. The last dvd I got was man of [frick]ing steel, and I’ve only played it once. Definitely could’ve saved money.
YoloSwaggins812
YoloSwaggins812 - 5/21/2018, 1:04 PM
@BloodyBed - So simply because YOU don't like them, they should stopping making discs? Also, isn't it your own fault you spent money on a movie you were only going to watch once? Lol "kind of obsolete" yet I've seen plenty of Blu-Ray's sold out at Best Buy...Lots of people still buy these, they aren't going to stop just because you want them to.

@YoloSwaggins812 - it seems I touched a nerve. I’m sorry I offended your buying habits.
