Disney Is Already Mulling Over Another Decade's Worth Of Marvel Studios Movies
Well, duh. While Disney wanting more Marvel movies is hardly a surprise, comments from CEO Bob Iger point to their plans stretching into not just the 2020s, but possibly beyond that too...
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has made it clear that they have plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe which stretch well into Phase 4 and beyond, and that's something which was reiterated by Disney CEO Bob Iger during a conference call today. That's hardly a surprise, but the fact that they're already looking beyond that just goes to show how important this world looks set to remain for them.
After discussing future plans for the Star Wars franchise, the studio head added: "We had a similar meeting with Marvel a week-and-a-half ago to plot [those films] out, where we’ve got movies in either development or production — some nearing completion — through the end of this decade. [There], we too are beginning to talk about what do we do the next decade, and so on."
Assuming Marvel already has an idea of which movies they're releasing in th 2020s, what properties would you guys like to see them prioritise in both that decade and the 2030s? Sound off below.
