Sometimes, the internet really sucks.
On Sunday, Warrior Nun writer Amy Berg Tweeted out photos of Chris Evans, Chris Hemworth, Chris Pine, and Chris Pratt with the caption, "one has to go." Weirdly, it quickly went viral, and turned nasty when the Guardians of the Galaxy star was dubbed "Hollywood's worst Chris."
People were quick to start sharing unfounded rumours about the way his marriage to actress Anna Faris ended, while also making some pretty bold claims about his religious beliefs (Ellen Page has previously suggested he attends a church that's "infamously anti-LGBTQ"), and the fact that he's a Republican and may have strong conservative beliefs.
Bizarrely, he also came under fire for not taking part in a Joe Biden campaign fundraiser which was attended by many of his Avengers: Endgame co-stars. As things became increasingly nasty, many of his fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe actors rushed to Pratt's defence, including Robert Downey Jr., Zoe Saldana, Mark Ruffalo, and filmmaker James Gunn.
