Micro-News: Joss Whedon On Growing Up Marvel, Agent Sitwell Teases A Return And More
Micro-news update-Marvel edition. Clark Gregg has a fanboy moment over his S.H.I.E.L.D. scene, Joss Whedon briefly talks about growing up on Marvel comics and Max Hernandez teases a return for Agent Sitwell.
Ahead of the Dublin International Film Festival where he presents Much Ado About Nothing, Joss Whedon had an interview with the Irish Times about Buffy, Firefly and this small bit below about growing up a Marvel fan.
“[The Marvel style] for me was a no brainer. My style was partially formed by reading Marvel. I got my visual rhythms from that. I do remember thinking: my God, there are just so many characters. Can we make a movie where they co-exist that doesn’t seem completely bonkers? The sheer tonnage was unbelievable.”
Actor Max Hernandez took to twitter to tease a return for Agent Sitwell. But is it for ABC's S.H.I.E.L.D., Captain America: The Winter Soldier or something else? Sitwell was described as taking Agent Coulson's place following his "death" in The Avengers but with Coulson's return where does that leave his protege?
Jaimie Alexander continues to tease a love triangle between Lady Sif, Thor Odinson and Jane Foster in Thor:The Dark World.
Clark Gregg is geeking out over his final scene in the S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot.
In the latest issue of Total Film Magazine, Idris Elba reiterates that he's looking to explore Heimdall further, beyond his duties as guardian of the Rainbow Bridge.
"Who is Heimdall? Ok, so he guards this gate...but is there anything else? That's what I want to explore."
