Straight from San Diego is a low-res but interesting new look at Captain America's costume for the upcoming movie The Avengers:











The Avengers is out May 4, 2012 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, and Tom Hiddleston.

Now that's a BAD-ASS costume, looks even better in live-action... I'm really loving the cowl, the textures, the gloves and boots... Heck, the overall design is amazing!

IMO, it would have been even greater if the pouch and belt were still brown... But alas, it's still amazing ;P

WIN!!!... IMO the most difficult costumes in the lineup to bring to life but they more than did it justice. It looks incredible.

it's still like a whole year away, and yet...i feel as if the movie (Avengers) is playing next week.

ugghhh...maybe they should slow down with all the leaks, comments, previews, etc. or else i'm just gonna X-plode with un-contained anticipation.

I was a little disappointed when I saw the art... but after seeing the real thing... this is sick. Not entirely sure what's up with the boots though.

I was thinking they'd go with a dragon skin armor kind of thing, and I'd prefer the belt to be brown like JumpmanCBM above, but still, I like it a lot.

This sucks! How am I supposed to TROLL Cap articles if they keep doing shit right? lol. But really, this suit is perfect. I'm so happy they went this direction. ^^ I was also worried, but now I can relax until Avengers comes out. [frick] the critics. I'll go see Cap this weekend.
