SDCC '15: Marvel Skipping Hall H, But BATMAN v SUPERMAN Is Expected To Steal The Show
According to a new report, Marvel Studios will NOT be staging any sort of Hall H presentation at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, but Warner Bros. are going to be there in full force with both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad...and Justice League?!
Marvel has overshadowed DC for two years in a row now (and pretty much every single one before that too), but it now looks like it's the latter's time to shine. Deadline reports that Marvel Studios will be skipping a Hall H panel this year, while Warner Bros. are plotting a "significant presentation" which is expected to focus on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, and Justice League Part One. The site also believes that Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Will Smith will all be in attendance. Does this mean Marvel are scared of being overshadowed by DC?
In all honesty, Marvel just don't need to show up. Ant-Man will have already been released by the time Comic-Con rolls around, while Captain America: Civil War is a movie big enough not to need any sort of promotion at the annual event. They've also already announced their Phase 3 slate too, but here's hoping we get some concept art or something from Marvel next month. Thoughts?
