Batman Returns Tribute - My Way of Life by the Enoch Light Singers

To follow up on my tribute to the entire MCU, I've crafted a tribute to one of my favorite CBMs of all time: Batman Returns. I've done it to the Enoch Light Singer's cover of Frank Sinatra's My Way of Life.

Sometimes the cover is better than the actual song. Like Johnny Cash's Hurt, it's much better than the Nine Inch Nails version. I find the Enoch Light Singers' unofficial cover of Frank Sinatra's My Way of Life much better than Frank Sinatra's original - which is still a classic. Perhaps a reason for this is because I loved Frontier Psychiatrist by the Avalanches when I first heard it. Regardless, the song is dark, slightly uplifting but always reminds me of what it means when someone makes a decision and are adamant. That could also describe Bruce Wayne's adamance in becoming Batman. The final scene of Tim Burton's Batman Returns is a scene that I find so beautiful but so sad at the same time. As Bruce goes away with Alfred with Selina's cat, you see the a shot of Gotham City and the Bat-Signal light up. Then you see Catwoman poke her head up at it and you realize why she's still alive, because she knows that Bruce would never give up being Batman for her. That even though she doesn't need Catwoman, he needs Batman. Why did I do the video in black and white? Well, the recent Logan pictures had me wondering how exactly black and white would look.
