A sneak preview for Batman: Assault on Arkham has been released with new details including that the game takes place two years prior to Batman: Arkham Asylum and The Riddler having a (presumably large) role in the film, as well as concept art and storyboards being shown.

From DC Entertainment, Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment comes an all new animated movie set within the same universe and continuity as the bestselling Batman: Arkham Asylum videogames.

Batman: Assault on Arkham will be released on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital HD in 2014.

The two latest DC animated movies have been very mediocre but this one looks promising. I'm very confident that DC will bring back their A game.

damn i love all these movies like theyre the best things in the world. you get more of them than having to wait for all those big budget live stuff. i would actually prefer if they poured the 200 million plus budget from one film into making tons of animated movies but the shit of reality is that people hate this stuff compared to live action stuff. it really makes me miserable! lol sob and even better than animated is to just make cgi movies that are like 6 million budget like heavenly sword!!! and make them all wonder woman in her beautiful classic costume lol!!!

Hope it's good. Would have preferred a movie based on Grant Morrison's Arkham novel.

First: Troy Baker is hot!
Second: Why are Deadshot and Captain Boomerang in Arkham?
Third: When are we going to get some more stories from outside the Batman franchise? Anyone else want to see more Wonder Woman, Titans (and not that silly kid sh!t they have been putting out), Shazam (Captain Marvel), Huntress, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, etc? Don't get me wrong, I do love ole Bats, but seriously we are in need of something else.
Finally: Damn, Troy Baker is hot!
