BATMAN FOREVER Star Val Kilmer Hilariously Weighs In On Recent "Batalingus" Discourse

Well, it looks like Val Kilmer is just as interested to know if Batman is a selfish lover or if he takes a page out of Junior Soprano's playbook when it comes to pleasing his partner!

Recently, an excerpt from a Variety article stirred up a lot of debate online when HBO Max's Harley Quinn co-creator Justin Halpern revealed that DC vetoed a scene in the upcoming third season that would have shown the Caped Crusader performing oral sex on Catwoman.

"A perfect example of that is in this third season of Harley [when] we had a moment where Batman was going down on Catwoman," Halpern said. "And DC was like, ‘You can’t do that. You absolutely cannot do that.’ They’re like, ‘Heroes don’t do that.’ So, we said, ‘Are you saying heroes are just selfish lovers?’ They were like, ‘No, it’s that we sell consumer toys for heroes. It’s hard to sell a toy if Batman is also going down on someone.’"

Of course, the internet ran with this, and it didn't take long for memes, hashtags and even a few think pieces to start doing the rounds. Now, a man who would know better than most if The Dark Knight is fond of a dive has weighed in.

Do you think Bruce Wayne is a proponent of "Batalingus"? Let us know in the comments, and be sure to tune in next week as we ponder the question: does Wonder Woman take it up the kingdom come?
