THE BATMAN: Josh Gad Really Wants Us To Believe That He's Signed On To Play The Penguin

Though this might just be more campaigning for the role, Josh Gad has shared an image that definitely suggests that he has had a conversation or two about playing The Penguin in The Batman...

Beauty and Beast actor Josh Gad has already posted a few supposed "hints" that he might be playing The Penguin in Matt Reeves' planned Batman movie, but up until now most of us assumed he was simply campaigning in the hopes of landing the role.

Well, while that may still be the case, his latest tease does carry a bit more weight.

Last night, Gad shared the following image to social media, which has led many to believe that he has now officially been cast as Oswald Cobblepot.

While that seems unlikely, the pic does show Gad posing with DC Films co-heads Geoff Johns and Jon Berg while holding a Penguin comic book, so it does seem to suggest that he has at least had a conversation about potentially coming aboard the DCEU as the classic Bat-baddie.

What do you guys think? More campaigning, or is there actually something to this?

Wonder if they'll present him if true. Will they go with a "worldly" approach?
