Yesterday we got the news that Christopher Nolan is working on a list of directors for "The Man of Steel." Now comes a little update from Collider.com on that "other" movie Mr. Nolan has in the works. While attending a press conference for "Inception" in Italy, the director was asked the status of the next Batman film. We all know that Christopher Nolan usually plays mum when it comes to info on his unreleased movies but this time he gave a nice little bit of info to reporters.

“I don’t like to talk too much about things until I’m further along with them. But I’m working on the script right now. My brother Jonah has done a draft for the script and now I’m writing on it. We have set a release date and as far as the film being officially greenlit, they haven’t told they don’t want to do it. So I’m hopeful.”

The fact that he is on the second draft of the script is good news. I really don't think we have to worry about Warner Brothers NOT green-lighting a sequel to a movie that grossed over a BILLION dollars either. So there you go, Superman will soon have a flight instructor and now Batman has a finished first draft. It looks like 2012 is shaping up to be one of the best years for comic book movies in a long time! What say you?

nice Tes DaGreat! that is by far one of the most chilling scenes in movie history! It's so fantastic how demented and evil they made the Joker....it freaked out anyone but me...does that make me demented too?? maybe just obsessed. RIP Heath...but as for his Joker performance may it always be rendered as cinematic perfection.
