New BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Video Provides Breakdown Of The Metahuman Thesis

In the video below, DC All Access host Jason Inman quickly summarizes DC Comics' rich history of metahumans and their introduction into the DCEU in Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.  An established reailty in comics, they're still just a myth in the DC Films Universe, with most of the world believing Superman to be the world's only metahuman.  Just how will the rest of the world react when the likes of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Flash (Ezra Miller) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa) are introduced in Justice League?  Did Superman's (Henry Cavill) heroic sacrifice stopping Doomsday in Dawn of Justice open the door for a more accepting and open-minded response than what he recieved across two films?

You can own both the theatrical cut and the "Ultimate Edition" of Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice  on June 28 (digital), and July 19 (blu-ray and DVD).

Did Superman's (Henry Cavill) heroic sacrifice stopping Doomsday in Dawn of Justice open the door for a more accepting and open-minded response than what he recieved across two films?

You see I don't understand this at all as far as character development goes.

Let's forget about how Metropolis has a statue for Superman & yet it seems like everyone hates him. So the citizens don't trust Superman? That's the primary issue is it? Alright. I can understand that & think it's an interesting concept to explore.

So when the solution is for Superman to sacrifice himself so people trust him, that's a stupid ass solution. Yea his sacrifice could be seen as brave but the problem is we all know Superman will rise from the dead 3 days after BvS.

So when Superman is back, wouldn't the citizens trust him less? They saw this guy die for them and he's back from the dead meaning nothing can kill him. So we have an unkillable alien menace who is the city's protector. That makes manners even worse if you ask me.

I don't get how Superman dying & rising from the dead can be seen as character development because it's not.
