New BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DOJ Set Pics Seem To Confirm Anti-Superman Movement

We've heard a few rumors over the last few months that after the events of Man Of Steel, there would be a lot of people blaming Supes for the destruction of Metropolis. Well, the following set snaps of protesters carrying signs saying things like "Super-Death" definitely seems to confirm that..

Twitter user Tim Reinman has managed to snap the above pics from the Detroit set of Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. As you can see, we have a bunch of protesters carrying the likes of swastikas, signs saying "Super-Death", and alien masks on sticks. Though we can't see them in these pics, there are also some people wearing "Superman Survivor" t-shirts apparently. This all points to a LOT of negativity geared towards Superman obviously, and suggests that the rumors of public outrage after his part in the destruction of many a building in Metropolis are true. It's a safe bet that we'll see Supes do something to try to win the public's support again in this movie.

Swastikas? Dafuq? I see no swastikas? That'd be suicide in Detroit. Lol

Awesome. I'm glad they're addressing this rather than sweeping it under the rug. Hopefully, Snyder read "What's So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way?".

Makes since why the general people of Metropolis would hate Superman. Especially after Man Of Steel when Superman was not very "Super".

I wonder will the MoS haters change their opinion about on all the senseless death and destruction in Metropolis now that it was all part of a larger story arc.

Funny how no one mentioned all the death and destruction of New York in the Avengers. But then again who am I kiddin' the Chitauri were lousier shots than Stormtroopers. No one died in that movie.

Netman, I hope you realize your diatribe is an exact summation of what happened with the "All Hail the King" one shot retconning Iron Man 3.
