Believe it or not, Black Panther is Marvel Studios' 18th movie and it also appears to be their most successful critically as well. With an impressive score of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, it now has the highest score on the site's official rankings. Those are figured out by making some adjustments to account for the variation in the number of reviews movies get to come up with their final rankings.
With that in mind, Black Panther's adjusted score is 117.552% and that puts it ahead of Wonder Woman's 108.588%. As a result, it's the best-reviewed superhero movie ever and essentially the greatest of all-time! That latter point is, of course, subjective but this gives Marvel Studios yet another accolade to boast about! Kevin Feige agrees too as he recently called Black Panther Marvel's best.
It's also the highest rated superhero movie on Metacritic and it's only one of two live-action comic book adaptations to earn a coveted A+ CinemaScore from audiences. Heading into Black Panther's second weekend at the box office, this positivity is no doubt going to help the movie in a big way and should ensure it stays at #1 for some time to come. Do you think Black Panther deserves all this praise?
