Following last night's first teaser and poster for Black Panther, EW has posted a very interesting trailer breakdown which includes quotes from director Ryan Coogler and Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige.
Taking things shot-by-shot, plenty of new information about the Marvel movie and its characters are brought to light. There's nothing too spoiler-y, but certain previously unconfirmed plot elements are touched upon, and a lot of it definitely warrants a healthy dose of speculation at the very least.
For example, Coogler confirms that T'Challa does indeed get his enhanced abilities from the Heart-Shaped Herb just like in the comics: "The Heart-Shaped Herb is what Black Panthers over the generations would consume, once they earn the title, which gives them their physical edge.”
