A New Buck Rogers Film Is In Development

Buck Rogers is heading back to the theatres probably in 3D!

According to Variety,the new Buck Rogers film will be directed by none other than Paul W. S. Anderson(Resident Evil,Alien vs. Predator) and the studio have plans to release it in 3D.Art Marcum and Matt Holloway(co-writers of Iron Man) will write the script.

Here is what Anderson said in an interview:
"Buck has already been such a huge influence on action-adventure franchises like 'Star Wars' and 'Indiana Jones,' so for me it is a thrilling opportunity to be allowed to return to the source, and relaunch such an epic character."

.....Why wasn't Chris Evans picked for this movie? For a douche like him this premise would have been perfect.

Paul W. S. Anderson is a hack. I hate this guy's movies. It's a shame the studio didn't deem Buck Rogers a good enough property to warrant a better director. I totally loved the Buck Rogers tv show when I was a kid and this just makes me sad.

Resident Evil = failure

Alien vs. Predator = horrendous

Buck Rogers = no hope for this one
