CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Set To Film A Funeral Scene?

A new report has surfaced that says a funeral scene will be filmed tomorrow! Along with that, a new casting calls has been revealed that's looking for funeral-dressed people, and much more!

According to Heroic Headlines, the cast of Captain America: Civil War will film a funeral scene on May 12 in Atlanta, Georgia. On top of that, a new casting call for the film seeks “Men in dark suits and women in dark pants.” The forecast for that day suggests it will be a "cloudy day, with thunderstorms throughout the afternoon." None of this is confirmed, but it all seems like the characteristics of a funeral. If this were to be true, whose funeral would it be? Quicksilver’s from Avengers: Age of Ultron? Tony Stark’s or Captain America’s?

The casting call also is looking for “Military officers” (possibly in connection to General Ross), “African and African men and women” (most likely in connection to the Black Panther and Wakanda), and “Russian Men” (possibly in connection with Hydra, and/or Baron Zemo.) To see all the details for that casting call, click HERE! That’s all speculation, but for the people who’s read the Civil War comics, you’d know that Captain America died shortly after his surrender. Could this be The First Avengers’ death? Or could it be a plot twist on the part of the Russo Bros. that sees Iron Man getting killed?

Whatever happens, I’m sure we’ll get more information soon enough! We should also expect to get some set photos over the next few weeks as well! What do you think this funeral scene will be about? Sound off below in the comment section with your thoughts!

Could it be General Ross's funeral? Maybe the death of a high ranking military official in connection with an Avengers mission creates the central conflict?

this certainly isn't Cap's funeral..who the hell would have Wakandans and Russians attending their funeral.

Yeah it seems (and I hope) it's a scene involving the incident, or QS's funeral. DON'T KILL OFF CAP!!

Peggy Carter. Since she is the founder of S.H.I.E.L.D. it would be full of agents and government officials. The action that starts the superhuman registration act might be some villains attacking the funeral and some heroes responding in a bad way resulting in many causalities.  I KNEW there would be a funeral scene and I've always guessed it'd be PEGGY. It will hit Cap hard and all of SHIELD....the whole govt too. The country will mourn maybe assuming she's known nationally for her war time efforts and SHIELD founding. Also, if the assumption of Stark knowing Peggy in adolescense, then he will affected to. This would be so significant. An attack on the funeral of a beloved war time legend and founder of SHIELD would shake the world to its core. Also, a theory, maybe the attack is caused by Scarlet witch. Quicksilver was the only person capable of calming her down. Maybe crossbones causes some distress within her and causes her to create destruction unwillingly. Maybe the funeral disturbs her and reminds her of quicksilver's death idk. But an attack that's caused by one of the avengers would shake the world govts and be the catalyst for registeration. The avengers can't handle one of their own (like Hulk dissapearing)

If it's QS' funeral, then he's definitely not coming back. Sucks...

so many possibilities

Im guessing cap would die at the end of this, then at the end of A:IW Part 1 or beginning of A:IW Part 2 he will be resurrected somehow. That's my speculation... (i'm not saying this is where and when he dies, but i got a feeling that he will, and may die like this, but hey, this is only a small theory)

@BatmanHeisenberg yessss!!! I'm telling you man, it'd be so cool. The attack gas to be at the funeral BUT if it's unwillingly caused by an avenger, that'd be some dark shit. Retaliation by the avengers at the funeral is obvious and an easy choice. Having scarlet witch cause it would add more weight

Everybody else is. It's definitely a possibility.

Didn't want to know this but if it's a major character like Steve, it's probably not a permanent death. So it wouldn't matter. I think it's for Peggy or just a bunch of citizens who died during AoU
EthanSmith1

Then again, this scene seems to have something to do with the registration act, so it's probably not Peggy's. Seems like it might be late in the movie, so I think they might fake Captain America's death, ala Nick Fury.

Or Stamford? Wouldn't they need Nitro for that though? Unless they do it a different way

What if it's HULK's funeral. They probably have an evidence that he drifted in outer space and now they think he's dead. The coming back og Ross makes sense now.

Just a theory.

A flashback to Ben's funeral? Wouldn't fully make sense but if the leaked script is in fact true, this could be what Spidey sees when Scarlet Witch [frick]s with his mind.

But more than likely the script is fake and I'm going to say anything is up in the air. Wouldn't want General Ross to die or T'Chaka be buried in the US. His funeral has to be in Wakanda.

I'm gonna guess it's Peggy Carter.

It also helps set up T'Challa's role, as he would now be asked to take sides, as Cap would justify the actions, and Tony would ridicule them, and they try and convice T'Challa of that. It also sees the two sides taking a sharp divide, and I'm guessing Natasha and Cap go to the different teams. Falcon, Vision and Witch will probably stick with Cap. Rhodes will probably go with Tony.

It's gonna be hard next year if Peggy dies, for me. Especially when I watch Agent Carter. I'll probably have tears, just sayin'.

Will be some sort of remembrance for the lives lost in the event that causes the Civil War, or maybe Peggy's death.

Cap won't die in this.

Don't kill any Avengers in this movie. Everyone knows Thanos is going to kill most of the Avengers in IW so they can be resurrected in IW 2.
