Chris Evans & Anthony Mackie Talk CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Accords, BLACK PANTHER, More
In the following video interview from last week's D23, Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie talk about what leads to a rift between The Avengers, the addition of Black Panther to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and a hilarious pitch for a Captain America/Falcon buddy comedy movie...
When Yahoo! Movies caught up with Captain America: Civil War stars Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie, they were quick to ask just how easily sides will be defined in the Phase 3 movie. Interestingly, it doesn't sound as if Iron Man is going to necesarily be viewed as the villain (he was for the most part in the comic book version of Civil War) because it appears as if Marvel are hoping the "Accords" will divide fans as they do The Avengers. The duo also weigh in on Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther and pitch their idea for a buddy comedy starring their two characters. "We have appearances by the other two Chrises, Pratt comes in, Hemsworth comes in, ScarJo comes in and does this amazing Josephine Baker lounge thing in a banana skirt," Mackie jokes. "It’s pretty dope." Be sure to watch both of the video interviews below for their comments in full.
